Have you read COEXIST yet?
“Julia Crane is a terrific YA novelist. Her characters are so lovable and real. The plot was action-packed from beginning to end with an incredibly shocking twist. Coexist has a rocking cliff-hanger of an ending that has left me waiting for the next in the series! I can’t wait to read more from this author.” Heather A. – Amazon Reviewer

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:
There’s romance, war, and supernatural all thrown in to make this incredible story. I was hooked from the first chapter. I’m hoping and waiting for a sequel. I would highly recommend it to everyone of all ages looking for a good read!

I’ve never read YA before (as an adult!), but I picked up Julia’s book because I loved the cover. I was surprised to find the storyline just as engaging as the cover. Great read. I picked up the second book as soon as I finished this one!
*******
I got sucked into this book quickly. I enjoyed the characters, the storyline, and the writing. It was a creative story and I found myself rooting for the main characters. It had romance and friendship along with magic and adventure. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
*******
What a great book! I really think if enough people read this it could take off as well as Twilight. All the characters popped off the page and were so vivid and alive in my mind. I really enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the next two books.
*******
I LOVED this book! I was instantly endeared to Keegan along with all the characters. Julia Crane did an amazing job! It is well written, keeps you engaged, and breaks at all the right spots. The story was great and I can’t wait to read the next one!

About The Author
Julia Crane is the author of the YA paranormal fiction novels: Keegan’s Chronicles, Mesmerized and Eternal Youth. Julia was greatly encouraged by her mother to read and use her imagination, and she’s believed in magical creatures since the day her grandmother first told her an Irish tale. And who knows? Maybe the magical creatures she writes about are people she met along the way.
Julia Crane has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Although she’s spent most of her life on the US east coast, she currently lives in Dubai with her husband and three children.

www.sarahwoodbury.com GUEST POST
Julia Crane
Welcome to Julia Crane and her incredibly awesome sounding young adult book, Coexist!
Sixteen-year-old Keegan is struggling to keep her huge secret from her friends—she’s an elf, descended from a long line of elves that live in secrecy alongside humans.
In elfin society, mates are predetermined but not allowed to meet until they are eighteen. Against tradition, Keegan’s brother Thaddeus told her Rourk’s name because his visions warned him she’d need Rourk’s protection, especially since Keegan will play a key role in the coming war between the dark and light elves.
Rourk finds himself drawn to Keegan’s side every time she thinks his name. He wants to talk to her but remains in the shadows, silently guarding her every time she mentally beckons him. A twist of fate thrusts the two of them together when Rourk is forced to step up his protection and make his presence known.
An ancient prophecy deeply entwines Keegan’s family and the future of their society. Somehow they must find a way to thwart fate and win the battle…without losing Keegan. With war brewing, and dark forces aligning, will Keegan and Rourk ever have the life together that they both desire?
What about this story made you have to write it?
I love that I was able to bring some of my Irish heritage into the story. The story basically wrote itself it started with an idea and before I knew it I was done. It was fun to write.
What was one of the most surprising things you learned during the creation of this book?
How badly I need an editor or two. I showed the rough draft to my 14 year old daughter, and she said, “the story is great, but your grammar sucks.” I have two editors go over my work.
What was the hardest part to write?
The ending. I saw it clearly in my mind, but it was still hard. I worried I was leaving it on too much of a cliff hanger. I can’t say more than that without giving anything away.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
I love to travel, walk, and spend time with my family.
Can you share a little of what you are working on now?
I just completed Conflicted book two in the Keegan’s Chronicles. I’m currently working on book three which is still unnamed.
What advice would you give a new writer?
Hire an editor, find a critique partner, and most of all write!
