I’ve never read YA before (as an adult!), but I picked up Julia’s book because I loved the cover. I was surprised to find the storyline just as engaging as the cover. Great read. I picked up the second book as soon as I finished this one!

I got sucked into this book quickly. I enjoyed the characters, the storyline, and the writing. It was a creative story and I found myself rooting for the main characters. It had romance and friendship along with magic and adventure. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

What a great book! I really think if enough people read this it could take off as well as Twilight. All the characters popped off the page and were so vivid and alive in my mind. I really enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the next two books.

I LOVED this book! I was instantly endeared to Keegan along with all the characters. Julia Crane did an amazing job! It is well written, keeps you engaged, and breaks at all the right spots. The story was great and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Julia has traveled far and wide to all the places her grandmother told her about, gaining inspiration from her journeys to places like Nepal, Cyprus, Sri Lanka, Italy, France and many more. And who knows? Maybe the magical creatures she writes about are people she met along the way.
